Installation for a dark space

Music: “Resonate, Tones” Matt Rogalsky

The piece consisted of an opaque screen pierced by a central vertical slot, behind which a chamber contained red, green and blue tungsten lamps mounted at floor level.

Groups of similar lamps provided an even illumination of the front of the screen.

The colours changed slowly. Differential timing between front and back ensured constant variation of colour combinations over the 25-minute duration of the piece.
